North Carolina Coastal Federation

Photoshoot and presentation on seismic surveying and offshore drilling will take place in Hatteras.

On Tuesday, March 19, the North Carolina Coastal Federation and the Surfrider Outer Banks Chapter will be hosting a photoshoot with Jenni Koontz of Epic Shutter Photography from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the Hatteras Community Center.

The photos from the shoot will be used to update content on the nottheanswernc.org webpage. Anyone who earns their money on the coast should attend this event to put a human face to North Carolina's coastal industry numbers.

Following the photoshoot at 6:00 p.m., Michael Flynn, federation coastal advocate, will present information about the current state of development of proposed seismic surveying and offshore drilling for oil and gas along the Atlantic Outer Continental Shelf.

The event is free to attend. For more information contact Michael Flynn at michaelf@nccoast.org or 252- 473-1607.
