The Nags Head Lions Club will host a benefit Fall Flea Market Saturday, Nov. 17, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Outer Banks Community Church (formerly Ocean View Baptist Church) at 902 South Virginia Dare Trail in Kill Devil Hills. Vendor tables are available for $25 each by reservation while supplies last. Vendors selling baked items, clothing, tools, art, jewelry, décor items, crafts and other goods are welcome.
The indoor sale will offer a wide range of items ranging from practical to whimsical and priced to move. According to the Event Chair and Club Vice President Ruth Charlton, flea market vendors sponsor a table and keep 100 percent of their sales. Table reservations may be made by calling 252-715-1553 or 252-216-8030.
All proceeds earned from table reservations will directly benefit the work of the Nags Head Lions Club, which is dedicated to serving the blind and visually impaired. Locally the Nags Head Lions Club collects eyeglasses for global reuse, pays for local eye exams, assists locals with purchasing eye glasses, supports a camp for the blind and holds periodic free vision screenings.
New members are always welcome, and membership questions can be forwarded to Nags Head Lions President Courtney Gallop at 252-449-8695.
