Town of Nags Head

As they consider possible new housing regulations, Nags Head officials are asking town residents to fill out online survey designed to gather information on the impact that short-terms rentals, like those advertised on Airbnb and similar web sites, may have on the town.

The survey — which can be found at— is available for Nags Head residents, property owners, and business owners to provide feedback on the possible effects these online home-sharing businesses may have on property values, tax revenue, neighborhood safety, and community compatibility.

Survey results will be provided to Nags Head's Board of Commissioners and the Town’s Planning Board for their consideration. The survey does not collect names, street addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, or any other personally-identifiable information, and only one submission per person is allowed.
