Opening day for Tidewater Summer League

It was bat on ball for #16 Dominick Claxton of the Outer Banks Daredevils during their opening day win against the Portsmouth Yardbirds in the Tidewater Summer League. The Daredevils' bats were hot as they easily take the game 16-3. The Tidewater Summer League is a collegiate wooden bat league that will be showcasing young national talent until the Championship game on July 8. Games are at Perry Field on the Virginia Wesleyan campus and at Sam Maddox Field at Lakewood Park in Norfolk.
